Farewell call on HE the President by Chief of Defence Staff

The Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal GD Perera VSV USP ndc psc called on HE President at the Temple Trees this morning (13).

Air Chief Marshal GD Perera will be relinquishing his duties as Chief of Defence Staff on 15th July 2009. The Secretary Defence Mr.Gotabaya Rajapaksa was also present at the occasion.

    This is not a sad news since they have done their duties to the max..... yes now it's the time for them to have a relaxed life.....
