Troops of 572 Brigade under command to 57 Division uncovered more LTTE military items including a bomb modification machine while conducting clearing operations in Visuamadukulam and Verakulam areas yesterday, 6 July.
A machine used for bomb modification by the LTTE terrorists was uncovered by the troops of 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (7 SLSC) from general area Visuamadukulam.
Meanwhile, 29 x RPG bombs, 03 x claymore mines and 20 x detonators were uncovered by the troops of 4 Sri Lanka National Guard (4 SLNG) while conducting to search and clearing operations in general area Verakulam on the same day.
